The EDC of Western Massachusetts is a private, non-profit organization which assists businesses to expand, and/or relocate in Western Massachusetts. For specific services offered by the EDC, please go our website, www.westernmassedc.com
The EDC is looking for a college junior or senior to keep its various communication media up to date, conduct research and work on special projects.
The position responsibilities include: conduct research on a variety of topics/issues; refine list of cluster companies; identify primary market movers within clusters; identify vendors to the cluster; and maintain updated group lists.
Students will receive college credit for the internship experience. The intern will work under the direction of the Vice President.
The internship period will run through the end of the spring 2010 semester and possibly through the summer of 2010.

Minimum Requirements:
Student intern must be a college junior or senior majoring in Business, Marketing or Communications and be in good academic standing. Other majors will be considered.
