Down The Aisle, LLC is a wedding planning & design firm specializing in assisting brides plan the wedding of their dreams while planning with a modest budget. Our target bride is a young professional in their mid-to-late 20's/early 30's, who's short on time, interested in Do-It-Yourself projects, and needing to stay within budget. Our brides are internet savvy and often on wedding blogs and other social media sites scouting for information.
We are seeking 2 non-paid interns who can assist 2-5 hours per week marketing on social media and blogging sites developing wedding-related content for prospective brides. Additional hours and/or day-of wedding assisting possible depending on skill level and ability to implement quickly at assigned projects. These positions are "virtual" meaning you can work from home/dorm on your own computer with an occasional in person meeting as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be proficient in social media including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, blogging/guest blogging. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. May require phone calling, so being comfortable on the phone is desired. Must possess knowledge of marketing, direct marketing and public relations. Experience with submitting press releases, experience/knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, and Google Analytics highly desired.
Sophomore or higher preferred.
