Request for Student Interns for Fall/Winter 2011-12
I am a speed reading expert and author looking for several college interns to help market, sell and brand a new online speed reading program to high schools, colleges and their students. Each intern will have an established database of contacts to work with. The ideal intern:
- Is interested in learning more about speed reading and the potential of this online course
- Has the ability, interest and motivation to work independently
- Can work out of their home for much of the time
- Has a working computer with a reliable internet connection
- Likes talking to people and has a reliable phone (if possible a land-line for vocal quality) or Skype
- Communicates well on the phone and via email
- Enjoys and is involved with social media
- Likes a challenge!
The intern will be given the online course to take (at no charge) so they know what they are marketing. We will talk about what markets to focus on and together make up a marketing plan. I am very flexible in terms of work hours which can be as few as 5 or as many as 15 per week. You will be asked to keep track of your hours and communications and submit them on a regular basis.
There is a small base salary with the potential of commissions based on sales. It's an awesome opportunity to experience working with a smart seasoned entrepreneur, author and speaker/trainer. If you'd like to get college credit for this, we can coordinate this with your college.
