Description:
As a Quality Engineer Intern you will have responsibility for supporting production to investigate issues with material in the manufacturing lines. Work with suppliers to establish root cause and countermeasures. Prepare and review process control plans. Support project work relating to 2009 strategy deployment annual improvement priorities. **Note this is a full time internship for the summer, and may continue on a part-time basis during the school year.

 

Minimum Requirements:
Must be currently pursing a BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering on a full time basis, and have completed at least one (1) year at the college level. The position requires a highly motivated and goal-driven individual, seeking to purse a career in an engineering field. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) are a requirement for success in this position. Strong computer skills are required in MS Office Suite especially Excel. Experience with CAD design software preferred. Must be available to work full time hours (8:00 am - 5:00 pm).
