Job Description
Global Harmony Institute has an exciting opportunity for a Computer Program Instructor. This position will instruct Middle School in an introductory 2 or 3-day course for a job in IT to troubleshoot and solve advanced hardware and software problems. This is a contracting opportunity for 2 or 3 days July 1 - 3, 2008. The Computer Program Instructor will play a lead role in instructing the students to on the basics of computers and to prepare them for additional future career training that could lead to an entry-level computer service technician job. The instructor will be responsible for training in repairing, troubleshooting, and configuring computer hardware and software. Curriculum for this training session will be the foundation for all instruction. Initial program time will be 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with Program/Instruction hours. This is a temporary position and therefore there are no benefits included.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive experience with current Microsoft Windows operating systems: Window 2000 and Windows XP
Computer hardware and software diagnostic and repair skills
Specific support of the following software applications: Windows 2000 and Windows XP, Internet Explorer, Spyware and AntiVirus Software
Experience instructing or working with students is desired
A+ certification is desired
