Global Harmony Institute is a small nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people take positive action on local and global issues. Job Description Global Harmony Institute has an exciting opportunity for a Computer Program Assistant Instructor. We are looking for five (5) Assistant to assist in the training of Middle School students in an introductory computer course. This 2 or 3-day course will be the basic instruction for a job in IT. This is a contracting opportunity for 2 or 3 days July 1 - 3, 2008. This program will prepare the students for repairing, troubleshooting, and configuring computer hardware and software. Curriculum for this training session will be the foundation for all instruction. Initial program time will be 8:30 am to 3:30 pm with Program/Instruction hours. This is a temporary position and therefore there are no benefits included.

 

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with current Microsoft Windows operating systems: Window 2000 and Windows XP
Computer hardware and software diagnostic and repair skills Specific support of the following software applications: Windows 2000 and Windows XP, Internet Explorer, Spyware and AntiVirus Software
Experience instructing or working with students is desired
A+ certification is desired, but not requires
