TRUMPF is one of the world's largest producers of fabricating machinery and a world market leader in lasers used for industrial production technology. More information is available at: www.us.trumpf.com. TRUMPF has an open internship position in the Software Applications Department. The position will be responsible for providing support to the software group in all IT aspects of technical support. Principle Duties include: HelpDesk Support Responsibilities: -Refer help calls to appropriate IT analyst for resolution -Enter all calls into the HelpDesk system, and update the call status change -Follow up on all open calls with analysts and end users to ensure effective communication -Use remote control software to view PC problems, and resolve routine problems while on the call -Assist with installation of software Programming Responsibilities: -Assist in building up a test environment (VMWare) -Assist in programming small software tools (programming in C#) -Create documentation -Candidate must be able to demonstrate a solid educational foundation in software and system design

 

Minimum Requirements:
This position will require good communication skills and a self motivated individual. Must have some coursework in IT field.
