Description:
Some experience with videotaping (professional cameras or mini-DV recorders) and knowledge of editing with iMovie preferred but not required. Experience with public access video production a plus. We do field shoots as well as studio productions. You will learn and/or assist with pre-production planning and coordination, direction, camera operation, sound, lighting, teleprompter, technical direction, editing, dubbing, distribution, etc. Ability to work independently with minimal direction is a plus, especially as it applies to editing, i.e., assembling clips, transitions, B-roll, graphics, music, photos, etc., into an iMovie project. Some weekend availability will be required for taping community events, etc., as well as evening availability for studio productions in Enfield, CT.
