Things to remember when applying for an Internship.
  1. Contact Career Services at your school to make certain you can receive credit for the Internship you're applying for.
  2. Make sure your resume is free of spelling errors. You don't want to make a bad first impression!
  3. The best internships aren't necessarily paid. Be sure to consider internships that give you the best career experience and a leg up on finding a job after graduation.

Description:
Full or part-time internship available. Individual will learn to design and implement music therapy programs for residents of a continuing care retirement community. Assess needs of participants and provide creative, quality programs. Supervision provided by board certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).

 

Minimum Requirements:
Proficient in a minimum of one musical instrument, preferably piano or guitar. Good communication skills and a keen understanding of the needs of frail elderly individuals. Good repertoire of music from the 1920's to the 1950's helpful.
