Description:
Visual Technologies, Inc., a Microsoft Gold Partner, is seeking interns to fill a full time Network Technician role for a for summer assignment beginning in May or June, 2008. Visual Technologies provides network support to small and mid-sized clients throughout the region using the latest Microsoft technologies (e.g. Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, etc.). This is a paid position based in our Hartford, CT office. Ideal candidates will be juniors or seniors pursuing a bachelor of science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related major.

 

Minimum Requirements:
Desktop and/or network support experience using Microsoft technologies is desired. Experience in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:
Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems (Windows XP, etc.)
Microsoft Server Operating Systems (Windows 2003 Server, etc.)
Network Infrastructure Components (Firewalls, Routers, Switches)
Customer Support
Spyware
Network and desktop infrastructure design
