Designs for Health is looking for a talented, hard-working student who is interested in gaining experience in the real world of accountancy Our dedicated staff will mentor you at our East Windsor, CT location while you enhance your skills and meet great people. Period: Six months; Good chance to be full-time, permanent position thereafter Starting date: ASAP Rate: $11/hour Hours: 12pm - 6pm, 30 hours/week Job Description: - Assist with inventory accounting, particularly on master item control - IRS W9/1099 compliance - Assist with accounts payable processing and filing - Assist with monthly close preparation - Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis as needed - Assist the Controller on various projects

 

Minimum Requirements:
Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Accounting -Completed 15+ credit hours in accounting courses -Minimum GPA of 3.0 -Good interpersonal and organizational skills
