DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: The Arc of Massachusetts is seeking interns or graduate students to assist in our work on behalf of 180,000 individuals with disabilities and families. A statewide advocacy organization, The Arc has a 50 year history of public policy and service achievement.
COMPENSATION: This is an unpaid internship, but we can work with your school to obtain academic credit for your work here. In certain cases, expense stipends may be available. We do have LICSW on staff, as well as staff with other graduate degrees such as Public Administration.

Minimum Requirements:
HOURS: A minimum commitment of 10 hours per week is needed. Supervision for academic credit available. Duration of role (one year, semester, etc.) is based on number of hours available, educational background and intern goals.
REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate junior class status is considered. Seniors and graduate level interns are encouraged. Good writing and communication skills, and knowledge of computer applications such as Windows 2000, MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
