Description:
Sullivan & LeShane is a government and public relations firm that provides legislative, administrative, and municipal lobbying to various corporations in the state such as Coca-Cola, Connecticut State Medical Society, and Verizon. Intern assists with bill tracking, legislative monitoring, public hearing sign-ups, data collection (agendas, minutes, testimony, etc), and research. Serves as a link between the office and the lobbyists at the Legislative Office Building (LOB) or the Capitol. Assists with special projects and events, and handles a variety of legislative tasks to assist the lobbying team.

 

Minimum Requirements:
Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies and be a matriculated student in good standing. Strong communication, writing, and computer skills are a must. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule with early morning and late night availability. Reliable transportation necessary. Requires certification that the internship is part of the candidate's academic program.
