POSITION SUMMARY
Health Care For All, (HCFA) a leading Massachusetts consumer health care advocacy organization, is seeking an intern to support our Oral Health initiative.
The policy intern will be responsible for the research and creation of HCFA’s white paper, focusing on the integration of oral health into payment reform.
Responsibilities include:

Conduct a literature review focusing on the following issues:

The development of consumer advocacy organizations and or consumer advocacy movement
-
Best practices in integration of policy initiatives into overall payment and or delivery reform
-
Support staff to:
-
Identify the key stakeholders in the state in both payment reform and oral health.

Identify organizations that we would like to interview and/or send surveys to
-
Compile survey findings – identify key findings, questions etc
-
Redraft key informant questions to take into account the survey findings
-
Interview key informants
-
Submit a final white paper focused on findings
SUPERVISION
This intern reports directly to the Research Director or Policy Coordinator. The intern will have opportunity to participate in conferences, department meetings, policy events, rallies, and other ongoing initiatives at Health Care For All.
