Located on the Connecticut River, we offer a fun, fast-paced environment that allows this position to be exposed to a wide variety of areas of sales, marketing and communications including advertising, public relations, collateral materials, direct mail, event planning, sales seminars, fundraisers and internal communications.
Duties include updating and expanding prospect databases, coordinating and attending fundraising events for the foundation, planning and providing administrative support for sales seminars, writing press releases for new advisors, maintenance and upgrading of web site, writing company newsletter, and ordering promotional items.
Minimum Requirements:
2-3 years of college with Marketing, Communications or Journalism major or have completed four year degree
-Marketing or communications major
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to take initiative to prioritize, manage, and complete duties with minimal direction
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point (Photoshop, Publisher or In-Design a plus)
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met
-Ability to work with all levels of staff and external vendors
-Drive and ambition are welcomed
