Description:

Responsibilities:  Assist Account Managers in coordinating data collection, reporting and various administrative support tasks for clients  Assist marketing in setup and layout of e-mail newsletters for Cierant marketing and Cierant pro-bono clients  Assist Marketing and Account Mangers in varied tasks for clients within Cierant eCommUNIQUE applications, including but not limited to: activity reporting, account setup, content editing  Assist Account Managers in documenting client requirements through creation of memos (Microsoft Word), spreadsheets/charts (Microsoft Excel) and diagrams (Microsoft Visio)  Assist Account Managers in researching online content for clients  Assist Account Managers in contacting clients or vendor partners as part of overall account management process Ideal Candidate Profile:  Marketing major with graphics skill looking to take a job in marketing at a corporation  Marketing major with writing skill looking to work in an ad agency environment as an account manager  Graphic arts student with interest in a marketing career vs. a design career  Business major with moderate graphic arts skill resulting from personal use of the Internet to create online profiles or avatars, web pages, or social networking site content  Business major with a minor in graphics  Business major with interest in online marketing programs Hours/Course Credit Options  Minimum availability of three days per work for approximately 4 hours per day  Prefer person who could potentially work 5 days per week even if only for a couple of hours per day  If program permits, this position can be organized with enough documented/structured marketing content to permit it to be qualified as a credit course but it is not currently created as such  Pay will be hourly and subject to supervision by Account Managers and Marketing

Minimum Requirements:

Required Skills:  Strong communication skill  High computer literacy; very comfortable in using modern Web-based applications  Comfort or skill in use of social networking sites such as Facebook  Experience in use of Microsoft Office applications  Moderate skill in graphic arts (ability to manipulate graphical images, use online tools for layout of content in graphics-oriented application)  Student will be evaluated on the basis of reliability, accuracy of work, punctuality and schedule adherence, overall skill, communication skill and versatility. This is a position that requires a responsible and committed individual who want specific experience in a very active marketing environment and who is prepared to learn on-the-fly.
