Job Requirements:
Selected candidate will generate new and expanded recruitment revenue and market share by developing and maintaining relationships with colleges and universities. Leads are provided but prospecting skills are also very important. Intern will work remotely from home or residence hall.
1.Generate increased business by making regular outside calls daily.
2.Tracking results of account activities; business to business sales experience in phone sales environment desired.
3.Familiarity with business development techniques, cold calling, prospecting, sales cycle management, and selling over the phone.
4.Familiarity with Contact Management systems; Word, Internet, Outlook
5.Attend tradeshows and conferences to promote and market business
6.Must possess good written and oral communications skills; organizational skills and detail oriented.
7.Ability to deal with customers in a timely and professional manner.
8.Pleasant telephone phone voice along with excellent phone etiquette.
9.Ability to work independently and virtually in a remote home office.
Other duties as assigned.

Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing
Majors:
Business, Communications and Marketing
Compensation:
Stipend/Commission and internship credit
Hours:
Flexible to accommodate credit requirements.
Position will be located in Hartford/Willimantic, CT with the possibility of working remotely from home.
