Description:
To assist the Editorial Department's Map Group with all aspects of the creation of maps for books. This is an unpaid internship.

Minimum Requirements:
Catalog all GPP maps in a searchable database
Responsible for creating small tiffs of each map
Create a library of PopOut retail and custom items.
Create a list, order inventory, and set up the Popout product for easy access
Follow a checklist to review author materials to verify guidelines are followed
Create PDFs of maps for editorial use as necessary
Perform basic Map corrections using Illustrator (training provided if necessary)
File author editorial materials as necessary

Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
Database experience/construction is a plus
Previously completed or currently has coursewor
