Description:
Candidate will be introduced to information systems and the integration of operations from a manufacturing viewpoint. Front of the house and back of the house operations, including order processing, shipping and receiving, inventory control, accounts receivables and payables, material optimization, data collection, payroll, and sales functions will be evaluated in relation to ERP/CRM and the automation and streamlining of tasks.
Required skills:
- Knowledge of Information Systems fundamentals
- Interest in Manufacturing Processes
- Project management
- Ability to see the macro and micro views of a task/project
Optional skills:
- Basic Engineering knowledge
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaker a plus
Hours are flexible, depending upon availability of student
