IT Consultant for Business with physical computers/software & Cloud-Based data:
IT Consultant needed for Horizon
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the technology needs and cloud computing for Horizon
More specifically:
- maintain Google Apps (e.g., setting up new users, configuring accounts, training for users and clients);
- maintain Salesforce (e.g., customization, configuration for new users, training for users and clients);
- maintain websites (e.g., creating links, uploading files, building buttons / apps as needed);
- support smart phones & tablets (e.g., set-up on iPhone and , user support as needed);
- manage hosting accounts and configure settings as needed (e.g., GoDaddy).
-basic networking, routers, memory cards, printers, scanners, and all compatibility issues between them
-Able to add new users to our network
-Able to fix major issues including Network down, Internet down, etc.
-maintain up to date computers with proper software
-maintain computers up to date with anti-virus program
MUST HAVES:
- IT experience;
- ability to learn new technology;
- ability to teach technology to team members and clients (e.g., Google, Salesforce);
- attention to detail and strong attention to spelling and grammar; and
- website creation and maintenance experience.
This position is a part-time, independent contractor position.
Hours needed estimated at under 5 hours a week.
Wage commensurate with experience ($14-$20)

- Facebook (proofreading, posting, editing, and admin);
- LinkedIn (proofreading, posting, editing, and admin);
- Twitter (proofreading, posting, editing, and admin);
- GoDaddy and other hosting sites (create and manage accounts; handle account settings);
- iPhone (set-up and configuration, support as needed);
- Tablets (set-up and configuration, support as needed);
- ability to learn new technology and stay on top of cloud computing trends.
