Description:

Northeast Utilities is seeking motivated and ambitious college students to join the Transmission and Distribution Engineering teams. The student will provide technical support to engineers and supervisors engaged in electric utility transmission and distribution substation, line projects and maintenance. Support includes assistance to engineers in writing standards, drawing management, writing procedures, assistance in engineering studies, and providing thermal ratings. Field time with the Construction, Test, and Maintenance department for vegetation management and construction support may be included. The position requires travel to job sites within Massachusetts and Connecticut. We have openings in Berlin, CT, East Springfield, MA and Manchester, NH.

Compensation:

$12.75-$16.65/hr

Minimum Requirements:

Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering degree is preferred. A valid drivers license is required. Please provide GPA.
