WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
Design and build Business Objects Universes and Dashboards
Design and build scheduled Crystal Reports
Create adhoc SQL data requests
Enforce the usage of predefined coding standards
Review and signoff of jobs/mappings
Troubleshoot production support issues
Performance tune long running queries

WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE POSITION?
This position requires a 40-hour per week commitment. The hourly salary for this position ranges from $13.00 - $17.00 per hour. This position has the potential to turn into full time for the right incumbent upon graduation.

Minimum Requirements:
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We seek a highly motivated student to work full time throughout the spring semester in our Information Delivery Department at Hartford Life. The chosen candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to convey technical concepts to all levels across the organization including both technical and non-technical audiences.
You must be a team player with a positive 'can do' attitude and posses the following skills:
Relational and Dimensional Database Concepts
Solid understanding of full Software Life Cycle Development methodology
Strong knowledge of Oracle DBMS and associated technologies (PL/SQL, SQL)
Hands on experience with Reporting Tools (Business Objects, Crystal Reports)
