TRUMPF is one of the largest producers of fabricating machinery and a world market leader in lasers used for industrial production technology. Summary: This is a temporary intern position. This position is responsible for assisting with a variety of functions in the Controlling Department including: product costing, inventory valuation, financial analysis and reporting. This internship position is a great opportunity to gain exposure to financial analysis in a manufacturing industry. A goal of this internship is to indentify potential candidates for future job openings at TRUMPF. Job Responsibilities: Product Costing: - Ensure that costing methodologies used are consistent with specific guidelines. -Assist with providing product cost analysis to various Departments to ensure proper decision making. -Documentation of guidelines for book, tax and German affiliate methods. Reporting/Analysis: -Monthly/Quarterly reporting to local and Corporate Staff as well as external entities. -Assist with providing analysis of business activities to Staff/Management on an as needed basis. Inventory: -Evaluate methods to reduce inventory in areas of operations -Review of inventory reporting and analysis Budget/Forecast: -Interact with Staff to establish Annual budget and quarterly forecast. Assist with cost analysis of expense accounts, Cost of Goods Sold/Product margins, Capital Equipment and Variances.

Minimum Requirements:

Individuals need to have strong communication skills and computer skills. Previous experience preferred. Candidates for this position need to have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field, or should be in the process of completing this degree program.
