The Alzheimer's Association CT Chapter is now accepting applications for its Summer 2012 internship program. The communications and marketing internship is designed to provide an opportunity for college juniors and seniors to develop their skills in the field of communications. As a communications intern, work will be completed to support and publicize the Alzheimer’s Association and its many programs and events including Fundraising events - Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Programs- Family Training Seminars, and Community Education Programs. Maintain and update media lists Search for news clips related to the Alzheimer’s Association, Assist in writing and editing press releases, media advisories update social media sites on Facebook and Twitter. Represent the Association at Third Party Fundraising events around the state. Photograph Alzheimer’s Association events. Assemble press kits and distribute press materials.
