Cronin and Company is a full service advertising agency located in Glastonbury, CT. We offer a wide range of integrated services including advertising, public relations, direct response marketing and digital. Directed by the Controller, this internship involves exposure to the day-to-day activities of an Accounting Department in a Professional Services environment. An intern can expect training and hands-on experience in a variety of areas, among them General Ledger account analysis, Excel spread-sheeting, client billing, accounts payable and management reporting. There is a clerical component which comprises less than 25% of the position, but there is also liberal access to the Controller and Staff Accountant. Why does Cronin offer an internship? Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications and Requirements: The internship requires 10-15 hours per week. Participants can receive college credit depending on their institution. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the internship: - must be at least 18 years of age; - enrolled in an accredited college or university and be majoring in accounting, business or a related field; - must be in good academic standing; - must have good communication and organizational skills; - must possess computer skills, primarily MS Excel.
