About Us:
YWCA of Western MA is the state's
largest provider of services to battered women and pregnant and parenting adolescent girls. Its hallmark is the provision of innovative client-centered, repsonsive and responsible service.
We are currently seeking mature reliable student interns with strong written and communication skills open to creative thought to work with our Director of Development to achieve the YWCA's mission of social justice and help move it to the next level of visability in the community. This unpaid internship offers a hands-on opportunity for students to gain valuable experience how a non-profit organization handles marketing, media outreach, public relations, and fund raising.
Be available to work 10 hours a week within a flexible 9-5pm M-F schedule for 6 months and demonstrate an ability to work with our diverse membership.
