About Us:

The Volleyball Hall of Fame is dedicated to memorializing the great people, teams and organizations of the sport, born here in Holyoke, MAssachusetts, USA but embraced by the world becoming the 2nd largest participation sport. The Hall of Fame is a small but growing non-profit 501(c)3 organization with ties to the local and regional communities and to volleyball organizations around the world. It is sanctioned by USA Volleyball and a member of the International Sports Heritage Association. It collaborates with many organizations to promote the sport of volleyball and the Hall of Fame Museum in Holyoke. It is also a repository of archival materials for the sport.

The Hall of Fame presents many promotional events (adding more each year) including indoor and outdoor competitions and skills development clinics and sponsors top level men's and women's competitions. Each year,in October, the Hall of Fame hosts the Induction Celebration Week featuring enshrinement ceremonies and other special events celebrating the Hall's new Honorees. Visitors come from around the world to witness the Induction each year of the International Class of Honorees.

The Hall of Fame is operated by staff led by an Executive Director and assisted by volunteers on committees and a Board of Directors drawn from the volleyball world, the business world and the community at large. The Board and Honorary Board of Directors include local, regional, national and international representatives.

Interns working with the Hall of Fame will have an opportunity to interact with individuals around the world on a wide range of projects. They will also have an opportunity to initiate new programs and events, create and leave their mark in a relaxed, flexible environment where they can be recognized and appreciated while they experience and learn.
