About Us:
The Science Center of Connecticut has a rich history of introducing children and families to the wonders of sceince and nature since 1927. Among educators and the general public, the museum is highly respected for its innovative, hands on approach to informal learning, setting nationally recognized standards for visionary programmingas well as contributing to the reshaping of science curricula statewide. Today the Science Center is the state's largest children's museum and serves more than 200,000 people annually. Included in the museum are several hands on exhbit areas, a wildlife sanctuary, planetarium, preschool and a sattelite nature center.
