About Us:
Riverfront Recapture is a 501 c 3 non profit organization dedicated to reconnecting the community to the Connecticut River by developing riverfront parks and pathways, programs the parks with quality free events and activities for residents who live, work, and play in the Metro Hartford region -- all the while attracting tourists to the region. In 2004, more than 786,000 people enjoyed riverfront activities and ammenitites. We offer intern opportunities for credit or stipend in the field of events and marketing, programs & operations, as well as administrative. Candidates must be hard-working, flexible, and able to work in a "think-on-your-feet" kind of atmosphere.
