About Us:
East Point Systems, Inc., is the leading provider of mortgage field service software and field network data services for the mortgage field service industry. East Point Systems, Inc. offers on-going (unpaid) internships for marketing students. The company is a member of the Connecticut Better Business Bureau, The Connecticut Technology Council (CTC) and is endorsed by all of the major trade organizations within the mortgage field service industry. Internships, (minimum 3 month basis) are provided for individuals who desire to acquire hands-on experience through an internship. Working with, and mentored by, an assigned seasoned marketing professional and executive management, interns will begin by analyzing our current market and new potential markets. Interns will then develop, and execute new product marketing plans and ad campaigns for actual software products that will be released and marketed. Successful performance and completion of internship may lead to paid positions after graduation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Interest and some coursework in business administration and/or marketing.
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good writing and verbal communication skills
- Detail as well as high overview analysis skills
- Ability to work well under a deadline
- Ability to use the web and Microsoft Office (excel, word, power point) programs skillfully.
- Ability to use Adobe Photo Shop is a plus
Hours / Location: Unpaid Internship. Flexible hours - at least 16 hours per week. We are located in the town of Vernon. (15 min. from the UCONN campus or 15 min. from Hartford)
