About Us:
Our organization, the City Center District, a municipal taxing authority within the City of New London, is working on a project to get the Shore Line East commuter rail service extended from Old Saybrook to New London. There are a myriad of reasons why this would be an important improvement in Ct's mass transportation infrastructure and what we need to do is convince the politicians and administrative departments in Hartford that it should be a priority project.
To accomplish this goal we need assistance in researching information, collating data, and formating those results into reports and bullet point presentations that will clearly convey our message to the regional and state decisionmakers.
We are looking to employ a motivated intern with excellent computer, writing, and communications skills. The hours are flexible - our goal is to get the job done - and the candidate will have to be organized and a self-starter. Compensation will be negotiated
