About Us:
The African-American Affairs Commission was established by the CT General Assembly to improve and promote the economic development, education, health and political well-being of the African-American community in the State of Connecticut, through advocacy, information sharing, cultural awareness, community networking and influencing legislation.
Interns will experience the policy, legislative and advocacy side of state government. Interns must demonstrate mature behavior, self discipline, independence and self confidence. Effective connunication skills are very desirable. Detailed description is available upon request.
