About Us:
We are a martial arts school/Youth Camp registered with the state of CT, that teach students from age 2 through adult. Our curriculum and classes are age specific. The curriculum rotates on a 4 week schedule with specific drills for each belt level. The classes are broken done into speific age groups: 2-3yrs old, 4-5yrs old, 6-9yrs old, 10-15yrs old and 16 & up. Along with the traditional kicking & punching, we also incorporate charactor development into our programs such as: Safety Skills- fire,first aid,anti-drug,health,home,stranger,traffic,weather. Life Skills- balance,coordination,cooperation,discipline,exercise,listening,memory,respect. Martial Art Skills- strikes,kicks,combo's,forms,blocks,stretching,attention,falling,rolls,stances. Our goal is to stress positive reinforcement for good practice habits, accomplishing goals, safety skills, life skills and martial arts skills.
